True Tone feature is supposed to match your iPhone's screen in relation to reality and more natural appearance. You will get somewhat of a light yellow tint especially in darker conditions.
The other option that creates a yellow tint (heavier than True Tone) is the Night Shift Feature. Ensure that this is set to OFF.

what True Tone does is basically adjust the color of your iPhone display to the lighting conditions around you, it tries to basically to deliver you the best viewing experience. to turn it off you can go into control center long press on the brightness bar and tap on the True Tone toggle
