Problems with music authorization after Big Sur

I updated to Big Sur and now must daily authorize tons of songs on iTunes one at a time. What is the fix?

Hello Bruccio.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you have to authorize music daily in order to play it. We’re happy to help.

Please sign out of your account. Quit the Music application and restart your computer. Once your computer has fully restarted, sign in with your Apple ID. Once signed in, try to play some songs to see if the issue persists.

Please use the steps here to sign in with your Apple ID: Sign in with your Apple ID

We also recommend the steps here: Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases

Let us know the results.

Take care.
