nfc reader not working

recently got my 12 promax and first 2 day i was able to use shortcut apps to do some automation using nfc tag . But on the 3rd day i wanted to scan the nfc tag again it does not work anymore. Personally have tried to install other 3rd party nfc apps and restore the iphone from itunes still does not work and does not scan anything . The only thing left that i haven't tried is go in dfu mode to restore the phone.

does anyone have any other solution?

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14

At this point, having someone run diagnostics on the device is likely your best option.

does not have apple pay in my country in the current moment .

Yes have tried to trigger the NFc without case on. But it does not work .

Other than that I have also did recovery mode to the phone . But it still the same ,Nfc still not working.

I guess the only choice is go to apple service center .

hi, the phone has been diagnosed by Apple Repair Center . the reply i got from apple care service was

"Thanks for choosing AppleCare Service.

Our technicians performed complete diagnostic tests on your product. They confirmed that it is now working correctly.

The symptons you mentioned might have been resolved when our technicians performed their routine diagnostics ,such as updating the internal software, charging the battery, or restoring and resseting the device. We're returning the product to you now. There's no cost for our diagnostic tests."

i doubt that do the technicians really use an nfc tag and use the shortcut apps to scan test the phone nfc?

currently the phone is sending back to apple centre 2nd time.

Hello Jun422 and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty running Automations that use the NFC tag as a trigger.

Given the troubleshooting you've already done, you'll want to isolate this to either hardware or software. The easiest way to do this will be to use the one NFC function that is baked into iOS, that being Apple Pay. Do you have Apple Pay set up and if you do, are you able to use it as expected?

Also have you tried the NFC trigger with no case on the device?
