Activation lock

Hi I’m trying to sort my mother in laws ipad which has gone into activation lock I don’t know or have any way of finding out the Apple ID used on the iPad. Is this fixable or is the iPad a right off

You need to get your relative’s Apple ID and password and have her sign out. Otherwise it is useless.

If your relative has passed away and you inherited it, you can go to the Apple store with a death certificate and her purchase receipt plus a copy of whatever shows that it was willed to you, they may be able to help.

There is no way of getting that info looks like it going to the apple store in the sky
