Apple trade in

I am looking to buy an Apple Watch for my husband for Christmas but would want to trade his current one in. How soon after receiving the new watch would I have to send off the old one to receive the discount?

When I traded in mine I think that I was allotted 14 days.

It will tell you on the apple store about the trade in.

Apple trade in process I want to clarify something. Is the following correct?
