When I receive a whatsapp message it shows in the notification as it’s a call when it’s a message. This has only happens since I got the iPhone pro max.

It appears that you're having a problem with the WhatsApp application since you received your new iPhone. The notification you receive says you're getting a call when it's only a message, and we're glad to help with this.
