I just bought a M1 MacBook Pro. This is what I get when trying to connect to a model A1314 Apple keyboard. Any suggestions?

I realized that an iPad in the next room was grabbing the Bluetooth connection. I turned off Bluetooth on the iPad and the MacBook connected.
I'm having the same problem. The bluetooth on the new MacBookPro-2020-M1 won't connect to last generation of Apple Magic Keyboard (model A1314), but it does connect (and works) with a new Magic Keyboard model-A1644. We have here another instance of "disruptive innovation" that forces consumers to spend tons of money to use their new M1 chip / OS11 device. Keyboard is relatively small problem, but cost more than $100 to upgrade keyboard. The fact that the new M1 OS11 mac won't run any Adobe Creative software - Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, etc - is disastrous. A clear case of false advertising.
