Can you tell us please, which version of MacOS you have installed?

Aperture 3.6 can run on any version of macOS X from OSX 10.10.3 to macOS 10.14.6. But if you upgraded to macOS 10.15 or later, Aperture is dead. Apple stopped the development of Aperture in 2015, and it has no longer been sold since five years. Aperture 3.6, as a compatibility update for macOs 10.103 has been the last available update.

if you already upgraded to a system version, that no longer supports Aperture, try to open the Aperture Libraries Photos for Mac to have access to your photos or downgrade to an older system version, that still supports Aperture. Then it will be easier to migrate your Photos Libraries to a replacement application.
