Missing Music

I purchased a song from 2018 and it is gone from my phone and music library. Why is it gone since I purchased it? I should own it for as long as I want it, that's why I purchased it.

I assume that you downloaded a copy when you purchased it? The copy should still be on your computer, or in your most recent backup.


If you are still using the same Apple ID, are in the same country, and the content is still available, you may be able to redownload fresh copies at no charge. Follow the steps in here:
