Is there a way to have Family Sharing, but not use the same payment method?
Have the family members buy/redeem Apple Gift cards to the account. Charges will be deducted from the account balance before the organizer's credit card is charged.
No, when I stop the family share the gift card works fine. It has something to do with Family Sharing.

Thank you for your response, things didn't work that way for me. Thus why I asked the question because it was strange that my card was being charged first before the gift card. I didn't even have option to use the gift card. We had used the gift card a few weeks ago without any problem, but today it wanted to use a credit card instead of the gift card.
You are welcome. Did someone buy something that can't be purchased with the Account Balance?
