Turn on Genius for iTunes store, BEFORE purchasing?

Hi everyone,

I know that the Genius features finds similar songs/albums from my own library when a song is selected and also offers suggestions after you purchase a song or album but is there any way you can turn the Genius feature on BEFORE you purchase something?

Clearly all the information is on disk waiting to be accessed once you purchase, but it would be nice to see some similar bands/songs/albums to songs we are just interested in.

Does anyone know if this is an option or coming soon?

Not sure I understand.
It also offers suggestions to buy based on items in your library.
You can turn on the *Genius sidebar*.
iTunes menu View -> Show Genius Sidebar.
Select a song in your library to see recommendations from the iTunes store.

Or do you want to select an item in the store and see recommendations on the item before you purchase it?
Of you look below the album, you'll see *Listeners Also Bought*.

I was hoping for something a little more in-depth than just what others have bought.
