I just received my MagSafe about two or three weeks ago. I started to use it last week and on the very first use, it became super hot and it’s been like that since. Why does it get so hot (not warm)? What can I do if it continues to be hot during charging?

None of the components of your iPhone and any other component that comes in contact with your iPhone should get too hot to touch. Electronic devices get warm when under load however if they get too hot to touch then you may have a problem. Your iPhone 12 Pro and the MagSafe are still under warranty. Take both items to the Apple Store or at an authorized service center. Have the experts examine it and provide a solution that you are comfortable with.
