how do you prevent your name appearing on someones iphone caller id?

Hello,

the other day I exchanged numbers with a stranger that was helping me move. when I called him, his phone displayed my name. We have never exchanged any calls before.

I have an iPhone SE with Verizon wireless.

anyway to disable that? Thanks
