the other day I exchanged numbers with a stranger that was helping me move. when I called him, his phone displayed my name. We have never exchanged any calls before.
I have an iPhone SE with Verizon wireless.
anyway to disable that? Thanks
Just go to settings > phone > Show My Caller ID - and then disable it.

That isn’t an option! I have the newest iOs
If your carrier is Verizon, you won't see that option.
