Can't get Mac mini M1 to see MOTU Audio Express

I just unpacked my Mac mini M1 tonight. Got everything hooked up, but it won't recognize my MOTU Audio Express. MOTU says the Audio Express appears to be compatible with Big Sur, but warns you have to enable the driver to work by going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy. There should be a message there to allow the driver, but it isn't showing up for me.

I've tried reinstalling the drivers, but no go. The odd thing is the first time I installed the driver, I got a message about a system extension being blocked. I am not seeing that in subsequent installs — even after manually uninstalling everything.

Anyone get the Audio Express to work with Mac mini M1? I do have the USB plugged directly into the Mac mini.

Mac mini, macOS 10.13

Had the same problems. Called Motu support. The drivers are not compatible (for now) with the the M1 of apple. They can’t say when the new drivers will be ready.

Very disappointing....

I’m thinking about selling my Motu...
