Out of curiosity, and since I have the Apple Store App on my iPads, Puregoldchannel2020, I got on the Mac App Store (on my Mac mini, running Big Sur), and checked.

I even checked the listing of all Apple Apps, on the Mac App Store.

There does not appear to be a Mac version of the Apple Store App. (At least, not one that runs on Intel Macs, running Big Sur, yet.)

If you don’t find it, you may want to use the Apple Feedback (for macOS) to request this App.

Reinstall the macOS:

If Apple Store is not showing up, then you may need to reinstall the macOS. Apple Store is part of the macOS. So, if it is missing, then you need to reinstall the macOS. Nothing would be lost. It's just that removed items will be reinstalled, and moved items will be moved back to where they should be.

Two Important Streps to Upgrading: Back Up, then Upgrade

I. Back Up:

Create a Time Machine Backup, that way, you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the upgrade. Use an external hard drive that is at least 1.5 the total storage capacity as that of your internal hard drive.

II. Upgrade:

  1. Go Here: How to reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery
  2. Boot With Option-⌘-R to Upgrade to the latest macOS that is compatible with your Mac.
