sorting event media

When media is imported it's sorted by date. That's typically useful, but in this particular case, I'm importing animation frames that were rendered over many days.

How do I get rid of the date sorting in the events media window?

sorting media I have imported a gopro library via it's name. When I view in FCP, list mode, it shows the media sorted, first, by day. I can sort the media within by the day. Change how it is listed. But It won't sort the entire file. Most recent day is always first. I wanted it listed oldest to newest. With the oldest day first. Chronological/name order by imported clip. What am I missing? TIA

How can I use 'sort by date added' when attaching files? When I try to attach a file using icon view (on Safari or Mail, for example), I can right-click and choose 'sort by date'. However, it only sorts by date modified by default. Can I change it to 'sort by date added' using the icon view without using 'group items by date added'? Many thanks!

You have plenty of options.

Click this icon atop the browser and choose how you want your browser content to be organized:
