How would one go about purchasing an annual Apple Fitness Plus subscription as a gift for someone else? Is there a way to buy it and for the recipient to insert some kind of redeeming code of sorts?

Currently, gift subscriptions are not available. What you might consider doing is purchasing a gift card for that person for the estimated amount of the yearly subscription, which they can add to their App Store account.
