Can't sign in to Apple Store on Mac

Was trying to update my MacOs but the system says An Apple ID verification code is required to sign in. Type your password followed by the verification code shown on your other devices.

but there is no field for entering the code :(

I changed the password, I signed out and tried to sign in beck but didn't work.

At the same time, there is no problem with signing into Apple Music or iTunes.
