Do I need to delete old Apple Watch before pairing the new one?

I’ve purchased a new Apple Watch 6 (AW6) w/ cellular. Do I need to delete/unpair/reset the old Apple Watch 2 (AW2) before I pair the new AW6? Is there anything I need to do before I delete/unpair/reset the old AW2? A step by step instruction would be much appreciated and needed! Please and thank you!
