14.2 ios = no cellular data, iphone 11 pro max
This issue is all over the support forums across all kinds of devices and Apple is continuing to tell epople there's no issue.
In the 2 weeks since the ios update, I have has SEVEN support calls/chats. I have:
Rebooted
toggled everything in cellular/general/wifi/airplane mode/etc.
rebooted again
reset network settings
reset all settings
factory reset - mandatory 14.2 update in setup
removed & reset SIM card
swapped sim card with other iphone - my sim card worked in her phone, her SIM card did not change issue in my phone
Apple Replaced the phone
initial setup mandatory 14.2 update - same issue
linked to itunes, went to recovery screen, update
phone unlinked twice before update files could be extracted. It started over from scratch each time.
3rd time, itunes says the phone can't be updated without factory reset. Ok, reset & update. No change in issue.
next day, connected to itunes again in recovery screen, itunes says phone needs factory reset & update.
Chat tech support says I should take it in to the store but unable to get an appointment time/date. That took an additional week to get a date/time. Tech offered to send me a 3rd phone for another $1200.
Finally got the appointment and it was cancelled the morning of because of covid store closure.
Do NOT tell me this is a carrier issue. I started with them and it's not.
Do NOT tell me this isn't an issue with 14.2 when a LOT of people are having it.
I work through my phone and it's a brick if I leave my house wifi. WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED???
