Homekit not working remotely

Hi, since the last iOS/tvOS updates I cannot get Homekit to work remotely.

I have just a simple setup with Phillips Hue lights and 2 Apple TVs.

Connected to the same network, all works well. Remote on homekit via 4G I got an exclamation and "no response" with all the bulbs. However I can use the Hue app (?)

There seems to be a remote connection however; when looking at hubs and bridges the status (iOS homekit app> homekit>settings> hubs and bridges) of an appletv(hub) switches from "disconnected" to " off" when I switch the hub connected/off on my appletv.

So, in short I can connect remotely to my Apple TV/homehub remotely, but it cannot connect to Hue, while at home (on the same network) this all works (near) perfectly.

Any suggestions? (besides removing all access. restarting, removing, reinstalling, resetting hubs, app, iPhones, Apple TVs, router, all done several times..)

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! If we understand correctly, you're trying to control your Home devices remotely but you're unable to connect to the Hue app.

We recommend checking to make sure your home hub is set up to allow remote access. The "If your home hub isn't working as expected" will give helpful tips:

Set up your HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV, or iPad as a home hub - Apple Support

If this is isolated to the Hue app, you can search their support pages or reach out to them directly:

All the best.
