Language switching stops working using globe button button on MBP M1

I do have the same problem and it only solved when I restart my mac and then the fn key works as expected.

I think it's a software bug which apple needs to considering a bug fix for it

its the same at my Macbook pro m1 13 inch

I don't know what the problem and yet the alternative shortcut works

but its apple they need to fix it asap.

Yes, I have the same problem on a Macbook Air and Pro with the M1 chip. I think it's OS bug and we need send a report to the Apple

I have the same problem... MBP 13" M1, 16GB RAM, macOS 11.2.2. Only a restart resolves the issue.

Just Heads Up, Same issue here on MBP2020, switching with option+spacebar brings it back to life.

The same for me. fn button stops switch input in some time. And reboot only can help

have the same issue with the globe button. Only restarting Mac solves it. Meanwhile I am using caps lock button for switching a language.

Well, its kinda not a good alternative on a brand new Macbook with a key dedicated for input change. Caps Lock has its role which is locking the caps. They have to address the problem and fix it.

I've already sent them a feedback about that issue linking also this conversation.

I hope that they gonna address the problem on the next update.

when I open some app in my MacBook , the 🌐 key doesn't work any more !
