WebCam Recognition?

The USB webCam I'm using with my Mac Mini (2020) must be assigned privileges in Big Sur in System Preferences under Security & Privacy. Apple created apps (ie QuickTime Player, Photo Booth, etc) seem to work fine without any intervention. I've tried to get third party programs (Zoom, Skype, etc) to appear in the box to be recognize, but they don't show up. I unlock the preference, but the apps can not be found.

How do I get Big Sur to acknowledge my attached webCam to function with third party apps?

Hello,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! We understand you are having trouble with your third party apps not being recognized by your Mac. We're happy to help you with this. It appears there may additional software that needs to be reinstalled.

Check out the second reply here: MacOs Big Sur Zoom Problem

You can delete the other apps and reinstall them as well. If you need to contact any third party developers, this page shows you how: How to contact an app developer

Best Regards.
