Apple Scare-ware

Hi I need help!

I was on safari on a shady website and suddenly appears a pop-up similar to the thing that appears when you transfer a file in safari saying that the SIM card of the iPhone had a virus, and I quickly closed it and left the site.

I know this is called “ Scareware “ but normally the malware says you need to install a anti virus but it didn’t said that.

I also read that you should close the website and delete the search history so I did that but still I’m VERY SCARED!

Do you think my iPhone has a virus ?

Unless you've jailbroken your iPhone, it's just short of impossible for the device to get a virus. Even less so for a SIM card since its main (and almost only) purpose is to connect your phone to the carrier service you're using.

That, and it actually is impossible for any web site to know what's on any other device through a browser. There's no method in any browser that allows any remote computer to directly access your computer, phone, etc. Any and all such messages are scams.
