The application requires 10.12.6

I have a an iMac (late 2013)

I want to use Sketchup on it but when I download and try to install the program, it says:

I have tried to update macOS, many times (also in safe mode), but when I try to install it says:

I don't really get this. I am no computer expert but it seems extremely strange. Even if I try and update to macOS version 10.13. it still says it requires macOS version 10.13.? I been stuck here for quite a while now.

Can it really be true that I just have to stay stuck here?

The only idea I can come up with is to download a old version of Sketchup that is supported by my current software.

Hope someone can help...

Kind regards

Josh

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which Mac model you have, download High Sierra, Mojave, or Catalina through the links provided. The one you tried to use is an updater and cannot upgrade Sierra or earlier.
