Safari mystery

Certain I used to be able to click on Safari icon in the dock of my Mac and would get option to open a new or private page. This seems to have disappeared and now I have to do this via File at the top. How do I get the facility back - don't remember changing any settings.? Or am I imagining things?

Hi shelannie,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're not seeing your options for the Safari app in your dock, correct? The options should show when you click and hold, or right click on the app icon. If they aren't appearing for you, we'd love to help see if we can get the issue resolved.

Can you tell us what you see when you right click, or click and hold the Safari app icon?

Cheers!
