Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’d like to know how long it can take to transfer data from one iPhone to another. We’ll be happy to help with this.

The amount of time it can take transfer data from one device to another can vary depending on a few different factors. When you started the process, did you choose wireless or wired transfer? Transferring directly from iPhone to iPhone can take 5-10 minutes and if you’re using iCloud, you can start using your iPhone about 15 minutes after the transfer starts and the rest downloads in the background over Wi-Fi.
