Mail on iPhone 7 won’t connect keeps asking for password

Do you have multiple email account on your device? If so, are you seeing this prompt for all of them?

Are these Hotmail/Outlook email accounts?

When you enter your password, are you getting an errors or alerts?

What iOS version is installed on your iPhone? You can find that in Settings > General > About.

We're glad you were able to get signed in. To get your Notes back on your iPhone go to Settings > Notes > Accounts, and ensure the account you just added back has Notes enabled (tap to check).
