Transfer music from a CD to my iPhone?

I have the Michael Buble Christmas Album on CD and decided to try putting it on my phone. I can transfer it to my iTunes library on my Windows 10 Pro PC, but it won't let me put it on my iPhone. When I go to see if maybe I can just download it through the iTune's store, it shows I'd need to buy it for $11.99.

However, seeing as I already own the CD, I'd rather not pay again for this album.

That being said, is there a way for me to do this that doesn't violate any of Apple's policies? Aka can I not just transfer the CD from iTunes to my phone? If so, how would I be able to do this.

Thanks in advance for any help!

If the music is in your iTuners library (however you got it), you should be able to sync it to your iPhone by following these steps:

Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support

BTW, when you I'm,ported the CD, did you follow this procedure:

Import songs from CDs into iTunes on PC - Apple Support
