Person on call can’t hear me when I’m on speaker

I have the iPhone 11 in red and every time I’m on call and put it on speaker mode person on call says my voice glitches and can’t hear me anymore even when I’m right next to it. everything is fine when I wear headphones or talk with it next to my ear but the second I use speaker it glitches.
