Imac doesn't see Iphone when connected

Imac doesn't see Iphone when connected. I am running OS Catalina Ver 10.15.7 and IOS 14.2. I can not update to Big Sur yet due to special work security software that has not been updated yet to work with Big Sur. Any Ideas? I've restarted both devices.

Resolved. I forgot to open a new finder window to see the connected Iphone.
