AirPods Pro crashing IPhone 12

Since purchasing my AirPods Pro I haven’t been able to use them due to the fact that the AirPods Pro cause my iPhone 12 to crash. This only happens when my Apple Watch series 4 is connected to my phone. I’m hearing this issue has been ongoing since the iPhone 12 came out. Apple will you fix this bug? Or are you just going to keep pushing meaningless updates?
