What are the risks with Receiving funds ($3k) via Apple Cash for an item your selling

I am selling something on marketplace. The person is push push pushing to pay using PayPal. I said No, cash only! They do live a large distance away. Now they ask about Apple Pay. My concern is that I have sold something before via PayPal, only to have the transaction reversed because of fraud. This is a big ticket item. I don't want to send it only to have funds whipped back. Should this even be a concern?

You need to use something with buyer protection. Zelle is what I used for stuff like that. Apple Cash has no buyer protection or seller protection since they can say that the transaction was fraud then have your item and their money.
