I had bought a card and when i got home i tried redeeming it. It said the card you tried to redeem is not properly activated

Card is not activated

If you see a message that says that your card has not been properly activated, it might not have been activated by the retailer who sold the card. The best option is to go back to the retailer and try to resolve it with them.

Have it Returned:

Have family in that location? If so, send it to them, and have them return it. Cards are only usable in the location/region they were purchased in.

Not that I know of, but "If you need more help, contact Apple Support."
