MagSafe duo charger issues

I found out from reddit, it won't charge TWO devices at the same time with less than 20W.

And you are using a 30W charger?

Is this an Apple 36W power adapter? Fast charge certified?

I believe it takes at least 30W to charge both simultaneously.

Same here. I waited for a couple of minutes (looking this article up, actually) and then it worked.

I’m having the same problems, only it’s the opposite, it charges my watch but not my phone 11 pro max?

I have the same problem, I am using a 36W charging brick and the Apple duo charger will only charge the device placed on the charger first. Very disappointed in this product.

I am using a 20W adaptor (bought specially for my MagSafe Duo Charger) to charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max and Apple Watch (series 5) ... it charges the phone perfectly but won’t charger my watch.. it starts by showing charging sleep mode screen and then goes off ?

I purchased the correct power adapter, and while it is charging both devices successfully, my series 3 watch keeps chiming when it is charged, waking me up every night. I've had to stop charging at night, and running out of battery every day.
