Hacked?

I phoned Amazon Firestick because of problems with my internet and TV. The person I spoke with told me I had been hacked via MacKeeper. He told me only a few people can fix it, and the cost will be about $350. I detect a scam. Unfortunately, I gave him remote access to my computer and worry information on my computer has been compromised. What is going on and what can I do?

You called a scammer, not who you thought you're calling.

Cancel the card you used and dispute the charge.

You may want to consider wiping your computer and re-installing macOS, restoring your data from a backup, and re-installing your applications.
