Insert Grid Line Overlay

I play a golf game that requires a gridline overlay to line shots up etc. Apps available for android but not for ios devices unless you are prepared to jailbreak...

Am I able to create a transparent overlay containing the grid lines I want and insert over the golf clash app while playing.

Clever solution? Would LOVE to have more gridlines for video! I would love an app (or native feature) that would allow us to display 2.39:1 and other gridlines on the iPhone screen for shooting video. (I VASTLY prefer to use the native app - Filmic Pro and others are not an option, due to known bugs that can degrade or lose footage.) I wonder, has anyone devised a clever way to do this? I'm thinking maybe to draw the 2.39:1 lines on my installed screen protector. But of course that is far from optimal.
