Bookmark management in Safari

Although I have been using Safari for many years, there is little improvement in bookmark management. It shows the bookmarks in messy order and difficult to use it. It does not offer any sort key for an user-friendly order. The synchronisation with other MacOS, iOS or Windows are unreliable. I am unsure if I did not learn the use of it correctly or it requires a 3rd party software to help the Safari browser. Any advice or guidance are appreicated!

Thanks for your re-confirmation. My iMac is running macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 and Safari 13.1.2. I could not find the way to sort the bookmark folders like sorting bookmarks within the folder. In above tutorial, it does not mention how to sort the bookmark folders at all. Probably you can do it with the most updated OS. I may check it with other latest macOS later.
