Mac Mini M1 crash due to monitor?

Just got the new Mac Mini M1. I've had it crash on me 2 times within a couple of days. My setup includes dual LG 27" monitors (one is from Thunderbold port on M1 to HDMI on the monitor and running with MacOS 11.0.1. I get a no signal message on my 2nd monitor. Then after login and a few minutes later Mac OS crashes. Here is the crash report message:

Termination Reason: WATCHDOG, [0x1] monitoring timed out for service

Termination Details: WATCHDOG, checkin with service: WindowServer returned not alive with context:

is_alive_func returned unhealthy : WindowServer initialization not complete (post IOKitWaitQuiet)

80 seconds since last successful checkin, 44 total successsful checkins since wake, 39 seconds since last crashed by watchdogd, (1 induced crashes)

Anyone else having same issue with new M1 Mini and/or Mac OS 11.0.1? If you google the termination reason, I saw similar posts from users running Mac OS 10.x. and their suggested solution was to install some combo update for MacOS 10.x but don't think I can install for OS11.x...Is this OS issue? Or something else? Not sure what to do besides return the M1 mini, which I don't want to but super annoying when trying to work from home. Thanks all.

Mac mini, macOS 11.0

Thanks for the report. For future reference, if you need post something long like this, you can use the “additional text” button below the message.

I don’t see anything obviously bad in the report. You may try uninstalling Citrix and see if the problem persists. Nothing bad about it, but maybe it has not been updated for M1 and works at a fairly low level.

Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. This may tell us more about your setup and help us figure out if it is a system problem or a conflict with something else. Did you migrate everything from an older mac?

You are right that these posts about applying a combo do not apply here - yet. There are no combo updates for Big Sur because it is still at 11.0.1
