How can I check to see if I KNOW my correct Apple ID and password? I’ve had my phone for 5 years and do the updates but haven’t had to need this ID and pw. Is there a way to check before I start this transfer process?

How do I really know what my correct Apple ID and password is before I try to do a transfer of contacts and data from one phone to another? I just used it to get to this Apple communities and I think it’s the correct one but how do I know for sure? I don’t want any glitches when I do the transfer

if you signed into the communities using the same Apple ID that you are signed into your phone with.. then it would seem you have the correct password.

You can always try signing into iCloud.com as well
