screen only says looking for keyboard and mouse

When starting up Mac Mini M1 for the first time the screen only display that the mini is looking for keyboard and mouse. What should I do??

If you can't connect them wirelessly (consult the manual or online manuals), get a wired mouse and connect the Magic keyboard (or other wired keyboard) via Lightning cable to the USB port. Then pair the wireless Mouse and Keyboard.
