Hello Ronyf,

We understand that your device is frozen with the Apple logo on the display and isn't responding. A force restart didn't work, and the device isn't recognized by your computer when connected.

First, when you connect the device, you may need to place it in recovery mode to make sure the device is recognized.

If you placed the phone into recovery and it's still not recognized, use these steps next.

You may have the option to "Update" rather than "Restore" the iPhone. If you choose "Update" then device will reinstall iOS, and your data should be preserved. If you're unable to update, then you'll have to restore. Restoring will remove all saved data.

If you have a backup saved in iCloud or iTunes/Finder, you can restore from the backup to get your data back.

Have a good rest of your night!

Thank you Eric for your response. I followed these steps. My iphone had around 1 gb storage. Once i did the update it launches another error and i was unable to proceed (as i remember it was error 14). So i was obliged to proceed with full restore without any back-up. The process was successful.

however, hope Apple will find a solution to proceed with the updates by freeing automatically spaces in order not to crash...
