What is MacOS system folder "Jet" and file ".jetkey"?

I discovered a folder and file here...

System : iOSSupport : System : Library : Jet : *.jetkey.

I've searched online for them, and I've tried to delete the .jetkey file with no success. It doesn't appear to be anything malicious after a scan. So I'm curious what it is and what it does. It was created almost a year ago with no modifications after that date.

There's a Jetkey company which deals with smart locks, but I've never used one. The time of folder/file creation was around 3:30am, which doesn't make sense either.

Any idea? Thanks for your assistance.

It's part of the OS. Much of the iOS support files are also part of macOS as the two slowly merge.

It could have been installed as part of Xcode, but I think it is just built-in support, maybe for the M1 Macs.
