How am I supposed to charge my iphone 12 pro max?

My issue is that I’ve paid over £1000 for a new phone that doesn’t come with a plug for the micro usb charging cable.

So I can’t charge it.

Also this new phone is no different to the X I previously had except it maybe has a slightly better camera, and it also sometimes doesn’t tell me when I receive a text.

Used to be Apples number one fan but my X glitches all the time and now I can’t charge my new phone without shelling out for another adapter, which will not be genuine because they don’t sell them, so I’ll get the blame if it’s faulty.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your reply. It was very helpful.

I was using my iPhone X charger until the cable became faulty. That’s when I went into the 12 box to replace the cable & found the new usb.

I’ve since plugged the cable into my MacBook adaptor, it’s charged super fast! It’s just not convenient and I was really annoyed that I didn’t get a new adaptor for the new cable. Had this been my first piece of Apple hardware I’d have been screwed once the battery ran dead.

Thank you again for your helpful response.
