How the **** am I supposed to charge this iPhone 12 Pro? It’s not compatible with the old iPhone charging cubes. Did I just waste over $1000?!?

You can use the power adapter from an older model iPhone or iPad if you also have the cable that came with that power adapter (i.e., use the old cable, not the one that came with your new phone)
Or if you have a USB-C power adapter for a newer iPad or Mac (or non-Apple device) you can use that with the cable that came with your iPhone 12, you can use that.
Or if you don't have any of the above, one option is to purchase: Buy 20W USB-C Power Adapter - Apple

As part of our efforts to reach our environmental goals, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini do not include a power adapter or EarPods. Included in the box is a USB‑C to Lightning cable that supports fast charging and is compatible with USB‑C power adapters and computer ports.
We encourage you to re‑use your current USB‑A to Lightning cables, power adapters, and headphones which are compatible with these iPhone models. But if you need any new Apple power adapters or headphones, they are available for purchase.
