Watch series 4 screen malfunction

Watch was working perfectly. Put it to charge overnight on 12/6. Next morning the screen was working erratically and got progressively worse until it no longer functioned. Did the 2 button reset and it will work for about 1 min then stop. It works while on charger and stops 1 min after taking it off. All other functionality is fine. Unpaired and paired from backup, nothing. Unpaired and paired as new, nothing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
