My phone was stolen at H&M store at Mapleview Mall Butlington Ontario around 2:50 pm. I tracked it outside Starbucks at 5:25. Could not find it. How do I know where it was moved to?

At. 5:25 it showed where it was. However, if someone moved it will I be able to track where it went. We checked the garbage cans and they were empty. Is it possible to track it where the garbage was disposed?
Is the phone still showing in Find My Phone? If the phone is offline, you will not see a current location.
If it isn't buried under so much garbage that a signal can't be emitted, you might be able to.
