My MacBook Air (m1) became significantly hot while playing the pre installed chess game. I know the chess app needs quite a lot processing power but I was not expecting m1 Mac to heat up this much.
Has it finished downloading and installing the Sri VoiceOver software for Chess. Not totally sure on Big Sur but did on earlier versions of macOS
Yes I am so disappointed too, I am thinking maybe it is not optimize yet for m1 chip? Or maybe this intensive game does not really suits our M1 :( I can play oceanhorn 2 on my ipad just fine it doesnt heat up tho it drains the battery faster than normal usage
I had the same exp with my Macbook Air M1 got this 2 days ago i played oceanhorn 2 and it really heats up :(
Yup, I was playing Ocean Horn 2 and realised that my MacBook Air was so hot when I touched it. Fairly disappointed......
