external sound card

Hello,

I recently purchased a 2020 27" IMAC. I want to be able to transfer my vinyl records to digital. I have the software on the IMAC as well as a turntable and pre amplifier. Is the I good quality external sound card that will take left and right analog RCA connectors and convert to digital and connect to the IMAC via USB ? I was doing it with my old windows laptop and a SoundBlaster SB1240. Unfortunately it isn't compatible. I'm looking for a similar audio interface device that takes analog and converts to digital and transmits via USB to IMAC. Is there a similar type device available for the IMAC. Any help appreciated. Thank you very much for the reply! I did some research on it. It's a very good sound card. I'm also looking at the Sound Blaster X3.

I have a cambridge audio preamp so I just need the conversion (analog to digital) without amplification.

I'm most likely going to get one of them. Just weighing cost vs quality/features.

Thanks again !
